Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced caregiver with a strong background in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. This role is centered around providing evening support, every day, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, ensuring a safe, calm, and supportive environment for the client. As a key member of the care team, you will assist with personal care, daily activities, medication reminders, and emotional support during the evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, personalized care for a dementia/Alzheimer's patient.

  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, and mobility).

  • Monitor and document changes in behavior or condition.

  • Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to reduce agitation and promote comfort.

  • Ensure a safe environment and respond promptly to any needs or emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Alzheimer’s or dementia care.

  • Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to de-escalate situations.

  • Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and dependability.

  • Certification as a CNA, HHA, or related field is preferred but not required.
