Willis Knighton Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in a busy Ob/Gyn clinic. We are looking for a self-motivated, self-directed Medical Assistant who is flexible, dependable and possesses excellent communication skills, has a solid knowledge of computers and the initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you work closely with physicians, managers, nursing and clerical staff as integral components assisting with daily operations of our clinics.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to giving excellent customer-centered service, setting up and assisting with GYN procedures, assisting in prenatal care, medication management to include administration, cleaning of instruments, performing blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests. The medical assistant will work with insurance companies and other departments with pre-authorizations and scheduling of tests and procedures.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm.

A hospital-wide orientation is required upon hire, and a departmental orientation will be offered as well. There is also an excellent benefit and salary package offered.
