Key Responsibilities
Back Office (Clinical):
- Prepare exam rooms, room patients, and capture accurate vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and clinical charting.
- Perform basic lab tests, blood draws (phlebotomy), and administer injections or medications as directed.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Warmly greet patients, manage the check-in/check-out process, and verify demographic and insurance details.
- Collect copays, deductibles, and balances accurately.
- Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Maintain precise digital records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Certification: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care, family medicine, or high-volume outpatient setting.

Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with modern EHR systems and digital scheduling platforms.
