Post-Operative Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Plastic Surgery Cases- Proficient English required

SYNERGY HomeCare of Miami is seeking highly experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a specialized post-operative care team supporting clients recovering from cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures.

These are exclusive, private-pay cases requiring a high level of professionalism, clinical awareness, and post-surgical experience. Care is provided to clients immediately following surgery, often in 24-hour or extended-hour shifts.

English proficiency is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are welcome but not required.

Type of Cases

  • Cosmetic and plastic surgery recovery (post-op)

  • Private duty, one-on-one care

  • 24-hour cases and extended shifts

  • High-acuity, short-term recovery assignments

  • Weekly hours may range from 24 hours up to 40+ hours, depending on case duration

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, one-on-one post-operative care to clients recovering from surgery

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation during early recovery

  • Monitor for post-surgical discomfort, fatigue, or mobility limitations and report changes

  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and comfort measures

  • Support adherence to post-op care instructions (within CNA scope of practice)

  • Provide calm, professional, and discreet care in private settings

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and recovery-focused environment

  • Accurately document care and communicate with the SYNERGY HomeCare clinical team

Requirements

  • Active Florida CNA license

  • Proficient English required (spoken and written)

  • Post-operative, hospital, surgical, or recovery care experience required

  • Experience with cosmetic or plastic surgery recovery strongly preferred

  • Ability to work extended shifts and/or 24-hour cases

  • Professional appearance, discretion, and strong bedside manner

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to pass background screening and drug screening
