Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

Follow the activities calendar to ensure a variety of events and activities are offered to residents
Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with event setup and cleanup
Follow the resident's plan of care regarding activities and ensure their engagement and well-being
Complete room visits and 1:1 visits to promote socialization and interaction among residents
Update the activity log for each resident daily to track their participation and progress
Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on resident preferences and feedback

Activities Assistant Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass level 2 background check - fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
