Job Summary:  The perioperative nurse will function in the role of the circulating nurse and may function in the scrub role in the operating room.

Education Requirements and Other Requirements:

 

                Education Level: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 

 

Certification/Licensure: Illinois licensed or eligible.  CPR certification required.  ACLS preferred or must be completed within one year.  CNOR preferred. 

 

                Experience Requirements: Minimum one-year scrub/circulator experience preferred.
