What You'll Do

As the Night Shift Charge Nurse, you will serve as the clinical leader of your unit and play a vital role in ensuring excellent resident care and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Medication Aides as assigned.

  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly respond to changes in health status.

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care.

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.

  • Support a positive team environment focused on quality care and resident dignity.

  • Participate in shift-to-shift communication and care coordination.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Georgia LPN license in good standing.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Passion for serving seniors and making a positive impact.

Preferred

  • Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care experience.

  • Previous Charge Nurse experience.
