What You'll Do

As the Night Shift Charge Nurse, you will serve as the clinical leader of your unit and play a vital role in ensuring excellent resident care and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Medication Aides as assigned.
Monitor resident conditions and promptly respond to changes in health status.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care.
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
Support a positive team environment focused on quality care and resident dignity.
Participate in shift-to-shift communication and care coordination.

Qualifications

Required

Active Georgia LPN license in good standing.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Passion for serving seniors and making a positive impact.

Preferred

Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care experience.
Previous Charge Nurse experience.

Location: This position will provide coverage primarily at our West side location at 6460 Harrison Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 and may occasionally provide coverage as needed at our Forest Park or OTR sites. Position Summary: The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is responsible the clinical training/orientation of the Clinical (Nursing) staff in the Medical Group. Adult learning theories are utilized when implementing educational programs/activities for staff. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator acts as a consultant and trainer for standards of care for clinical practice; utilizes and applies change theory in matters related to clinical practice; applies interpersonal skills and fosters communication when interacting with staff and other members of the healthcare organization. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is directed by the Ambulatory Clinical (Nurse) Educator in establishing and maintaining clinical competencies; pursues continued excellence in clinical practice; is self‐motivated in identifying own strengths and limitations; and seeks to improve areas of weakness. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is not administratively responsible for the supervision of other people but works collaboratively with Practice Managers to assure that standards of clinical practice are met. This position reports to the Director, Nursing Professional Development. Education, License & Cert: The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
