How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Supervised Clinical Care: Deliver direct, hands-on nursing care and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the close supervision of an RN preceptor, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and safety protocols.
  • Vital Sign & Procedure Support: Accurately complete delegated clinical tasks, including measuring and recording vital signs, executing basic nursing orders, and preparing or transporting patients for diagnostic services.
  • Proactive Clinical Reporting: Document patient data meticulously and promptly communicate clinical observations, test results, and status updates to the preceptor or appropriate medical staff to support real-time decision-making.
  • Care Planning Integration: Actively assist the preceptor with the development and adjustment of patient care plans by reporting changes in patient status, while helping to maintain a safe, clean unit environment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • in semesters 1-3 of a Registered Nurse program
