These disorders can include urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other conditions that affect the pelvic floor and bladder. This provider is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing pelvic floor disorders in women. This role involves in-office treatments, patient education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals including urogynecology physician, to provide comprehensive care.Responsibilities • Diagnose and treat pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence. • Refer diagnosed urogynecologic surgical procedures to practice Urogynecologists • Develop and implement treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications. • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options. • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, Urogynecologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Stay updated on the latest advancements in urogynecology. • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. • Participate in practice call coverage as required. • Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements • Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association. • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to innovation and excellence in women’s health. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and work with physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants and front office staff. The APP supports evaluation, education, and longitudinal management for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and metabolic bone disorders. The role emphasizes chronic disease management, patient empowerment, and timely specialty access.Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage adult patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. • Conduct focused assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. • Support diabetes care including insulin management, CGM interpretation, and patient education. • Monitor and adjust medications and hormone therapies under the direction of the collaborating endocrinologist. • Educate patients and families on disease processes, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. • Collaborate with physicians, primary care providers, pharmacists, and nutritionists for coordinated endocrine care. • Document care accurately, timely, and in compliance with the EHR standards. • Follow-up on labs, imaging, and referrals to ensure continuity of care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and case discussions. • Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, commitment to team based, evidence-based outpatient endocrinology care.
