Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

 

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility.

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

BSN Preferred

 

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
BLS (AHA) certification

ACLS (AHA) certification

NIH Stroke Certification to be completed by end of the week of NEO

 

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical The Registered Nurse on Med Surg Tele is responsible for providing care that is respectful and responsive to the patient’s values in clinical decision making. Performs completely and accurately including, but no limited to, physical (i.e. assessment for pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (i.e. cognitive and communicative skills or development), social status and other patient needs. Identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, desire for care and responses to any previous care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for initiating discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate as well as accurately documenting and keeping record. Qualifications Registered Nurse with current California RN license Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
