Summary: An exempt position responsible for practicing medicine, including surgical services, and managing all aspects of in-patient medical care under the appropriate physician supervision as defined by New York State law. Within physician-physician assistant/nurse practitioner relationship, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners exercise autonomy in medical decision making a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Job Responsibilities Conducts physical exams, assesses health status, orders and interprets tests, prescibes medications, and treat illnesses.
