Responsibilities Clinical Nursing Services Examine and sees acutely ill employees and determine urgency of care Refer cases to company physician or personal physician where appropriate Document patient information accurately and timely Maintain confidentiality of employee medical records on computer and written as needed also ensuring confidentiality within the clinic Respond to emergency medical incidents anywhere in the facility Implement company surveillance and safety programs where appropriate Be able to function in single nurse staffed clinic Communicate appropriately with members of the medical team and other stakeholders at the site Actively engage in process improvement initiatives at the onsite clinic, collaborating with both UnityPoint and the client to streamline workflows and partner with safety initiatives. Complete appropriate forms or requisitions needed Responsible for tracking system for follow-up appointments related to office visits, laboratory tests and procedures to regularly follow patients monitoring disease status and injury Appropriately understands the client’s work-site culture and processes while modeling UPH FOCUS Values Qualifications Education Graduate of accredited nursing program for Registered Nurses. Attends participant related conferences as indicated. Attends and participates in staff meetings, in -services, committees and conferences as required.
