We are excited to open a brand-new 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on day shift. We welcome both experienced nurses and new graduates who are eager to grow in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Shift: 12-hour days, 0645–1915

Schedule: Rotating, with every other weekend off

Position Summary

The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced Med-Surg setting. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Monitoring patients and responding to changes in condition
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Providing patient and family education

Qualifications

  • Current RN license
  • Previous acute care experience strongly preferred (Med-Surg experience a plus)
  • Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
