We’re opening the doors to a brand-new Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and are looking for a dedicated Nurse Tech ready to help build something special from the ground up.

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable individual to join our 25-bed Med-Surg unit on day shift.

Shift: 12-hour days, 0645–1915

Schedule: Rotating, with every other weekend off

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Obtaining vital signs
Assisting patients with personal care
Turning and repositioning patients
Transporting patients
Responding promptly to call lights

This role requires someone who can prioritize tasks effectively, stay organized, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred, but not required
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care

As a Sweet Dreams CNA You Will: (includes but not limited to) Spend quality one on one time with patients and their families to support everyday needs Care for hospice patients by providing paths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen as often as needed Provide bedtime care including personal hygiene regimens as required Provide aroma therapy and gentle touch Provide lotion rubs to hands and feet Perform personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly.
