We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed medical assistant that can work in a busy Internal medicine clinic at WKP. We need a person that is dependable and has strong work ethics. Good communication and computer skills are required. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assessment of patients utilizing verbal and technical skills, triaging patients. The MA will work with the insurance companies in completing referrals and preauthorization for lab, X-ray and procedures. They will perform EKG's, breathing treatments, and administer medications and vaccines as prescribed. They will assist with tests and procedures. They will maintain a safe clinical environment for patients. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit package is offered.
