Caregiver Responsibilities

As an evening caregiver, you may assist clients with:

Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and fall prevention
Safe patient transfers and repositioning using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques
Toileting and incontinence care
Meal preparation and medication reminders
Light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home environment
Meaningful companionship through conversation, games, activities, and engagement

Requirements

We're looking for caregivers who:

Hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Are able to safely perform heavy client transfers and repositioning
Demonstrate proper lifting techniques and safe body mechanics at all times
Are kind, patient, compassionate, and dependable
Enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients
Bring a positive attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm to daily interactions
Can prepare nutritious, home-style meals
Are comfortable performing light housekeeping duties, including:
- Laundry
- Changing bed linens
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
