Job Description
The House Supervisor provides direct supervision to staff on a designated unit. In addition, he/she provides indirect supervision for all other hospital departments. The House Supervisor is responsible for appropriate unit assignments taking into consideration patient acuity, age specific requirements and diagnoses. The House Supervisor promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health.

Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or MSN preferred.
- Experience: 3 years prior psychiatric nursing experience preferred, prior experience working with specific patient population and prior charge nurse experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management and CPR training preferred.
