Job Description
Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Full-Time | Iola, KS
Join a growing clinic in Iola, Kansas as a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA). Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule (5x8s) with no weekends, no holidays, and a rotating call schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to new and established patients, including histories, physicals, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up, and patient education.
- Collect and analyze health data, develop and implement care plans, coordinate care, and manage patient cases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform approved procedures consistent with training, experience, and collaborating physician agreements.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that meets quality and RVU productivity goals.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams, utilizing critical thinking to identify when consultation is needed.
- Serve as a clinical resource and leader for clinic staff.
- Complete documentation, paperwork, and Inbasket messages accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in provider meetings, call coverage, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- NP or PA licensure (or eligibility)
- Current BLS certification
- DEA and BNDD registration (if required for prescribing controlled substances)
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills
