Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement activities and social programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff members to ensure a positive and supportive atmosphere
• Assist with resident events, such as birthday celebrations, holiday parties, and special outings
• Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement activities that support resident rehabilitation and wellness goals
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity data
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of activity programs
• Provide general support to the activities department as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and organize activities and events
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
