Nurse (RN or LPN)

Fargo Elim, a Cassia Community, is hiring a Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team!   You’ll build meaningful connections while working alongside our dedicated clinical team in a welcoming environment where your contributions are truly valued.

As a Nurse (RN or LPN) at Fargo Elim, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Position Type: Full- Time

Available Shifts: Nights
6:30 pm to 7:00 am

Location: 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104
 
RN Charge Nurse Responsibilities: 

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Function as a team member with other staff in performance of duties.
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Implement individual plan of care for residents and monitor staff providing care.
• Notify nurse manager, attending physician, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow up action as necessary.
• Order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as necessary.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician's orders.
• Participate in direct resident care as needed.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to procedures.
• Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.

• Current ND Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Must have strong nursing and leadership skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and services to our residents.

Nurse (RN or LPN) responsibilities:

• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

• Current RN or LPN license in North Dakota is required.
• Prior TCU experience a plus.
• IV certified or in a current course.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
