Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Golden Haven Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Glendale, CA. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN is responsible for providing quality patient care, applying the nursing process, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.
Position Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards and facility policies. The LVN works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care while promoting a safe and compassionate environment for residents.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Rotating 4 days on / 2 days off schedule.
- Work performed at a single location in Glendale, CA.
Available Shift
- PM Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $38.00–$43.00 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct focused patient assessments to identify individual care needs.
- Monitor and assess residents for physiological and psychosocial changes, reporting significant findings promptly.
- Collect, analyze, and document patient information and nursing observations accurately.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license (required).
- Current BLS Certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of LVN experience in a skilled nursing or related setting preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
