7 Days On / 7 Days Off
On-Call Hours: 4:30 PM – 8:30 AM
Enjoy every other week off while providing exceptional hospice care during after-hours.

Position Summary
The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse is responsible for providing after-hours nursing care, triaging patient and family concerns, responding to urgent clinical needs, and delivering compassionate end-of-life care throughout the Wyoming Valley service area.
Responsibilities
Respond to after-hours patient and family calls.
Perform on-call visits for symptom management and urgent patient needs.
Complete nursing assessments and provide appropriate interventions.
Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding hospice services and symptom management.
Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation.
Participate in rotating on-call coverage according to the assigned schedule.
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
Hospice, home health, oncology, ICU, emergency department, or medical-surgical experience preferred.
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and compassionate patient care abilities.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
