A glimpse into the SHINE Emergency Department Residency:

• The Emergency Department clinical track starts with a comprehensive 12-week orientation across various med/surg units, guided by high-performing preceptors.

• After this period, nurse residents will work independently on med/surg for 6 weeks, solidifying their newly developed skills before transitioning to the Emergency Department to begin their specialized orientation in the ED.
