PRN Requirements:  Tier 2: provide 6 shift availability per month Tier 3- Provide 8 shift availability per mothBoth tiers are to include -1 full weekend per month , 2 major , and 1 minor holiday.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.

Qualifications

  • Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required. Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.
  • Experience: One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required.

Case Manager / RN (PRN)

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital (PRN) At Houston Methodist, the Case Manager PRN (CM) position is a licensed registered nurse (RN) who comprehensively plans for case management of a target patient population on a designated unit(s). This position works with the physicians and interprofessional health care team to facilitate and maintain compassionate, efficient quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes. The CM PRN holds joint accountability with social worker for discharge planning and continuity of care and assures that admission and continued stay are medically necessary and communicates clinical information to payors to ensure reimbursement. For Location: USA - TX - Humble U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $33.44 - $45.98 The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
