A bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred, and candidates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 4 years. At least 1 year of recent RN experience is required, with ambulatory and/or oncology experience preferred. Professional nursing certification (e.g., OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC) is preferred, and AHA BLS certification is required (AHA ACLS is acceptable as a minimum requirement).
