Job Summary
As a C.N.A. Supervisor, you will serve as a leader within the Clinical Department, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care. You will provide guidance and oversight to the Certified Nursing Assistant team while promoting a positive, resident-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants during assigned shifts.
Monitoring staff performance and conducting performance evaluations.
Providing coaching, education, and ongoing training to C.N.A. staff.
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions.
Ensuring quality care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
Promoting resident safety and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Collaborating with nursing leadership to address staffing and resident care needs.
Assisting with scheduling, assignments, and workflow coordination.
Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
A current, active, and unencumbered Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) certification.
Current CPR Certification.
A minimum of three (3) years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a skilled nursing, healthcare or long term setting.
Previous supervisory, leadership, charge, or team lead experience is required.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of resident care.
