Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday varying 8-hour shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm, you will work at UW Health Belvidere Clinic 1700 Henry Luckow Ln.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required
Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required

Floating to various facilities required based on business need. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma/GED and completion of a medical assistant (MA) program, certification course, or equivalent MA training/experience. Licensure/ Certification: CMA-Certified Medical Assistant current certification by one the following approved certifying agencies : American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), earning CMA credential. American Medical Technologists (AMT), earning RMA credential. National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), earning NCMA credential. National HealthCare Association (NHA), earning CCMA credential. American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) to be completed within 2 weeks of hire date. National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP). American Allied Health (AAH). Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
