Floater Caregiver

SYNERGY HomeCare Round Rock, TX

We are looking for a dependable, flexible, and compassionate Floater to support our clients and caregivers throughout our service area. This position is responsible for covering caregiver call-offs, conducting client wellness and supervisory visits, assisting with new client starts, and providing hands-on care when needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in different environments, can adapt to changing schedules, and is committed to delivering high-quality care and excellent customer service. Schedule Option 1: Monday–Wednesday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Option 2: Thursday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Must be available to respond to last-minute call-offs and urgent staffing needs. Responsibilities Cover caregiver call-offs and open shifts. Conduct client check-in and wellness visits. Complete supervisory visits as assigned. Assist with caregiver introductions and new client starts. Provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the office. Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication. Represent the agency professionally in clients' homes and the community. Requirements Valid driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance. Ability to travel throughout the service area. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules. Comfortable working in different client home environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in home care, caregiving, CNA, HHA, medical assisting, healthcare, or customer service. Knowledge of home care services and client care standards.
