Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide attentive, high-quality care for clients during the day and nighttime hours.

The ideal candidate will ensure safety, comfort, and well-being while assisting with personal care during the day and monitoring throughout the night.

  • Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming) as needed
  • Help with mobility and offer companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, meal prep)
  • Maintain accurate care logs and communicate with family or staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay awake and alert throughout overnight shifts

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HHA Certified or CNA License (Florida)
  • Previous caregiving or in home care experience preferred
  • Current FIRST AID & CPR certification
  • Current TB (negative PPD results) in the last 6 months
  • Pass criminal record and Level 2 background in AHCA clearinghouse.

Document care provided in the medical record. Collect and transport specimens. Respond to call lights within five minutes or communicate inability to do so. Report patient needs to an RN/LPN immediately. Assist in the removal of equipment (I.e. Mental Demands: Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests; ability to resolve conflicts among staff and to work collaboratively with department director, physicians and other members of the Healthcare team; ability to ensure operational efficiency; ability to problem solve and make decisions; ability to exercise self control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers. Special Demands: Essential Sensory requirement - ability to visually assess patients and implement plan of care. Essential Technical/Motor Skill - finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination are necessary when charting, using equipment, and providing direct patient care.
