CareCore at Westmoreland in Chillicothe is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences that promote engagement, independence, and quality of life for our residents.

Qualifications

Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning and implementing activity programs that meet the interests, abilities, and needs of residents
Escort residents to and from activities, events, and outings
Encourage participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Accurately document attendance and participation in activities
Support residents in maintaining their individual preferences, routines, and choices
