Job Description

Registered Nurses are responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The Registered Nurse providers clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift. Weekend & Holiday rotation.

6:45pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Pay based on experience starting at $39.12 ** Eligible for $10,000 sign on bonus **

Responsibilities

Administers medications and treatments according to protocol.  , Administers medications and treatments according to protocol.  , A plan of care is initiated at admission with focus on patient’s identified physiological, psychological, and environmental factors.  , Assures that documentation reflects changes in patient condition and notification to appropriate individual has occurred.  , Clarifies and reviews physician’s orders and takes appropriate action.  , Coordinates discharge planning with all team members. , Coordinates information transfer during shift change using star communication., Delegates to other members and holds them accountable for delivery of quality patient care.  , Demonstrates cost conscious behaviors., Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage the care of patients.  , Demonstrates the ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.  , Documents accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status every 2 hours or as needed., Documents patient teaching/education about plan of care., Enhances patient care and efficiency of unit by optimizing workflow of all team members., Identifies patient problems on integrated flowsheets and documents against the plan of care.  , Initiate appropriate pathways of inpatient physician orders., Keeps both patient and significant others informed., Keeps logs updated.
