Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated RN/LPN Nursing Manager to oversee our nursing unit during day shifts with an on-call rotation. The Unit Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
  • Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor the quality of care
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Participating in resident assessments, care conferences, and discharge planning
  • Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
  • Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support and guidance to staff during off-hours

Requirements:

  • Valid RN or LPN license in the state of MA
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to provide exceptional care
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
