The Medical Assistant at MyCare 365 works collaboratively with providers and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in an ambulatory and urgent care setting. This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can effectively prioritize patient needs, and is passionate about creating a positive patient experience.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct patient care under the delegation and supervision of a provider.
  • Support patient flow by efficiently rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examination and treatment.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other urgent care-related responsibilities.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to the needs of patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and other team members to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support quality, safety, and service excellence initiatives.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in an urgent care, walk-in clinic, or other fast-paced ambulatory care environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and remain composed while caring for patients with varying levels of acuity.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to delivering care that reflects the Wake Way to Excellence through compassion, respect, and accountability.

JOB LOCATION Duke GI-Endoscopy of Raleigh - 3300 Executive Dr. JOB SUMMARY Duke GI of Raleigh is located on the Duke Raleigh Hospital Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The certified medical assistant will assist the clinical and provider staff with all aspects of patient care in the clinic setting, including: patient intake, vital sign collection, updating EMR, scheduling and discharge.
