Qualifications
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a clinical staff position at the outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic HOPD, with emphasis on the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN provides clinic-related nursing care and nursing support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida.
- One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
- Person should display initiative and have the ability to multitask.
- Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, team focus, and problem-solving skills are required for the ideal candidate.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida. Florida is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Act.
- AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (CPR) is required or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment. Must maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR). Must successfully complete medication test within 30 days of hire.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
- Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
