Job Requirements

The Home Licensed Practical Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis procedures and the

knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the PD/HHD

dialysis patient. This position exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere

that allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment.

Position cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with

applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment.

Work Experience

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state licensure.
Additional IV medication class, if required by state guidelines.
Meets all state/licensing requirements.
ESRD experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and procedure manuals.
Effective communication with clients and staff.
