Responsibilities:

  • Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
  • Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
  • Suturing and splinting
  • General orthopedic evaluations and management
  • X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
  • EKG interpretation
  • General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
  • Treating patients of all ages
  • Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

  • Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
  • MSN or higher required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Overview Job Duties An Advanced Practice Provider I (APP I) is a direct patient care provider licensed in the State of Florida and/or Georgia and provides medical services to patients as defined by their scope of practice and under the supervision of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida/Georgia. Clinical Area: Primary Outpatient Care in Community Health & Family Medicine and General Pediatrics. May perform minor Primary care procedures. Responsibilities Essential Functions • Obtains patient histories, performs physical examinations and/or diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests. • Formulates comprehensive health management plans for patients in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical professionals to include progress notes, narrative discharge summaries, consults, etc. Facilitates patient participation in making health care decisions. • Reviews, prescribes and/or recommends medications and treatments to patients • Provides timely and appropriate referrals to patients in need of further medical care and services • Educates and counsels patients/families regarding their health care, including routine health maintenance • Enters pertinent clinical information in the patient’s medical record in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with established compliance billing guidelines.
