Job Overview

The Clinical Nurse (CN) II provides Family-Centered Care as demonstrated by recognizing the patient, family and/or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient’s preferences, values, and needs. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level 4, 82-bed regional referral center for the seven-state region with a platinum-level designation for ECMO. We treat neonate, infant and pediatric patients less than 2 years old with conditions including hypoxemic respiratory failure, infections, hematological, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic disorders, single major or multiple anomalies requiring diagnostic work-up and/or surgical intervention. We provide continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), renal dialysis and body cooling for neonates among many other therapies to provide the highest level of neonatal care to infants and their families.

We are hiring experienced NICU nurses, but if you are a nurse with adult or pediatric inpatient experience looking to transition to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), our "New To NICU" program within the Anschutz Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will support you in your journey. We are currently interviewing candidates with at least one year of general inpatient pediatric experience, pediatric ICU experience, or adult ICU experience.

Next possible start dates for "New to NICU": October 12th

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • EXPERIENCE – One year nursing experience. Candidates with NICU, general inpatient pediatric experience, pediatric ICU experience, or adult ICU experience strongly preferred.
  • EQUIVALENCY- Applicants with an Associate's Degree in Nursing and who agree to obtain a BSN within three (3) years from their start/hire date may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) may substitute for a BSN.
  • LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S)– Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or RN license from multistate compact; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least six (6) months left before expiration is required upon hire.

Eligible Incentives

  • Up to $4,400 in relocation benefits (100 mi. or greater) for qualifying positions - amount depends on where you're moving from.

Hours per week: Multiple FTEs available depending on level of relevant experience. Must work 20 hours/week to be eligible for benefits.

Shift

New to NICU: If less than 1 year NICU RN experience, RNs will be offered rotating days/nights x1 year, then straight nights.

Experienced NICU: lf 1 year or greater NICU RN experience, RNs will be offered a straight night shift position.

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Overview Advance Hospice Care. Lead Clinical Excellence. Inspire Compassionate Teams. We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Manager to join our hospice team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director or Administrator, you will oversee patient care activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant hospice services. This leadership role involves managing clinical operations, coordinating care, and developing staff to uphold the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. As a Hospice Patient Care Manager, You Will: Oversee and direct patient care services to ensure the delivery of high-quality hospice care Manage visit scheduling, including reassigned, missed, declined, or rescheduled visits—making decisions based on clinical judgment and priority Triage incoming phone referrals and medical concerns in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner Lead or facilitate Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings, including presenting patient updates, reviewing charts, coordinating care plans, and documenting minutes Serve as a mentor, trainer, and clinical support to associates, supporting development, performance, and compliance Ensure all care delivery meets federal, state, and local regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures Support performance improvement initiatives, quality assessments, and operational efficiencies within your location About You Qualifications – What You’ll Bring: Current RN license in the state of employment Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum of 3 years of direct patient care experience, including 2 years in a hospice or home-based care setting Demonstrated ability to apply hospice principles, industry standards, and regulatory compliance (Medicare, Medicaid, JCAHO, ACHC) Knowledge and compassion for terminally ill patients and their families Ability to lead a diverse care team while adapting to the emotional and clinical needs of patients from various backgrounds Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Competency in clinical documentation and technology systems Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Previous leadership, team management, or supervisory experience in hospice or home health Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN) Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, internal equity, and department equity.
