This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced, highly engaged team caring for acute and chronic dialysis patients while utilizing advanced critical thinking, clinical assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Location: Wilmington, NC / New Hanover Regional Medical Center
What You'll Do

  • Providing inpatient hemodialysis treatments
  • Managing peritoneal dialysis utilizing cyclers and CAPD
  • Assessing, monitoring, and responding to patient condition changes
  • Delivering care to both acute and chronic renal patients
  • Supporting critically ill patients in ICU and other specialty units
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards
  • Educating patients and families regarding dialysis therapies and treatment plans

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
