Seasonal Position Details:

  • Full-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week period

  • 15% Premium (Seasonal Premium)

Seasonal Minimum Qualification:

  • Seasonal RN must have 2 years applicable nursing experience to the unit assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Current Montana RN license or compact license required

  • Minimum 2 years of PICU or similar pediatric critical care experience preferred

  • RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first. 

  • PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.

  • APHON must be obtained within 1 year of hire/transfer.

  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills

  • Desire to provide care across the pediatric spectrum in a supportive, team-based setting

Shift:

Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts for 13 weeks.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

The Pediatric ICU Unit at VCU Medical Center provides the only full-service children's care in central Virginia including a Level 1 pediatric Trauma and Burn Center. The 21-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a vital part of the pediatric programming caring for the most critically ill infants, children, adolescents and their families, who have a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
