Medical Assistants (MA) in the medical office setting supports providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification(s): MA Certification preferred but not required

Preferred Experience: 1 year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by clinic

Primary Responsibilities:

· Room patients, take vitals

· Instrument maintenance and prep

· Stock exam rooms

· Documentation, scanning

· Point of care testing

· Basic in basket and refills

· Communicate with physician or APP

· Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards

· Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies

· Medication reconciliation, injection administration

· Schedule appointments, medical record releases

· Diagnostic and ancillary order entry
