LPN/ Licensed Practical Nurse Job Duties and Requirements:

Currently holds an active state issued LPN license.
CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency

· Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.

· Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.

· Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.

Monitor the age of outstanding holds and ensure timely follow-up. Track issues through completion and verify that corrections have been made before releasing claims to Billing. Follow the established escalation process when issues remain unresolved. Coordinate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to resolve billing-readiness concerns. Conduct or assist with a daily billing-readiness huddle with key department representatives. Route billing holds based on department responsibility rather than distributing unnecessary information to multiple departments. Identify recurring problems and communicate trends to leadership. Monitor physician orders requiring follow-up and ensure appropriate action is completed. Support the Daily Pre-Billing Readiness Report to identify and resolve problems before the billing cycle. Track the financial impact of billing holds, including estimated dollars being held.
