Responsibilities

Supports the Pediatric Oncology health care team.
Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols, delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
Will oversee tumor patients and patients in our cancer predisposition clinic
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required : Associates in Nursing
Preferred : Bachelor’s in nursing
Required : RN (Registered Nurse) License - Florida Dept of Health
Required : 1 year of RN experience
Required : BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required : PALS (Pediatric) (if applicable)
Preferred : Oncology experience
Preferred : CPHON (Pediatric Hematology Oncology) or OCN (Oncology)
