Location: Pontiac, MI

Schedule: PRN NightsCompensation: $52.00 per hour plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign-on bonus: $5,000.00

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State RN License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required at hire.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience

Daily attendance at assigned visit locations. Documents all aspects of subsequent, discharge, eval/recert/resumption of care visits within 24 hours of visits. Documents all aspects of start of care visits within 24 hours of visits. Completes and submits all required documentation within specified company requirements. Follows plan of care as permitted within the scope of practice for a Registered Nurse. Fulfills RN visits in assigned geographic location per patient need within federal and state specifications. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of one year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Home care experience is desired. HOW YOU'LL WORK: You will support patients by responding to after-hours needs. You'll provide skilled nursing care in a patient's home as directed by the attending physician. You will work autonomously, so you need to be efficient in managing your time. You'll be responsible for all practices and duties within the scope of practice outlined by the state. If there are minimal to no after-hours needs during your shift, you will help with chart review or patient phone calls from your home.
