How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Proficiency in patient rooming protocols, conduct patient intake,measure vital signs, and assist the care team with treatments and procedures as directed.
  • Manage phone communications, maintain patient records, and assist with supply inventory, ordering, and stocking.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are prepared for examinations and the clinical area is clean and well-organized.
  • Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, filling, and provide general office and clerical support to the assigned area.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Ensuring collections are done according to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Administers vaccines as directed and through manufacturing guidelines and documenting appropriately. Responsible for general office duties that accompany the job duties and assisting when needed throughout the clinic. Complete opening and closing procedures.
