Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.

Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.

  • Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
  • Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
  • Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Job Summary: Provides nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse of physician/advanced practice provider. Utilizes observational skills to observe nursing intervention and assists medical staff to insure optimal care within established policies, procedures, and standards. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider provides nursing care in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice and treats coworkers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect. Essential Responsibilities: Exhibits excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, providers, and co-workers; shows courtesy, compassion, and respect; conforms to the critical service standards established for the department. Provides therapeutic patient care in accordance with the patients established by physician/advanced practice providers and/or a registered nurse within the scope of practice. Provides non-compoicated teaching following the registered nurse/advanced practice provider/physician plan for education. Report any identified learning needs and discharge barriers. Ensures cleanliness of nursing module/station, patient exam room, and proper functioning of patient care equipment by visual inspection, routine testing, and other related methods. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Utilizes effective verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. Performs in other departments or modules to which assigned as required by the nursing/department administration to provide and maintain the established standards of care and safety.
