As a Memory Caregiver, You Will:

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

• Provide patient, respectful, and reassuring care to clients experiencing memory loss or cognitive changes

• Use appropriate redirection and reassurance when clients become confused, anxious, or distressed

• Encourage safe social interaction and meaningful activities

• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Communicate relevant changes in a client’s condition or behavior to the appropriate family member or office staff

• Build positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and coworkers

• Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands when needed

• Provide dependable care by being punctual and consistently covering scheduled shifts

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience required

• Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s care experience preferred

• At least 18 years of age

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to register

• Current TB clearance

• Current CPR & First Aid certification

• Successful completion of a required background check
