Job Summary 

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders.     • Monitors patient vital signs, administers medications, and observes for changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Supervising care treatment and services of client care provided by LPNs, CNAs and other staff on assigned unit and shift. Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred. Experience: 1-5 years general OR experience- Pediatric OR skills highly preferred. Candidate must be experienced in at least basic cases in the following services: general surgery, ENT, GYN, Urology, Neuro and Ortho. Familiarity with cases such as ENT airway emergencies, VP shunts, lap appys and ECMO a plus. For Cardiac Services, pediatric CVOR experience is greatly preferred. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and support on the off-shift. License/Certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days or RQI Healthcare Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support Registered Nurse by California Board of Registered Nursing Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support KNOWLEDGE These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education or licensure/certification.
