Nurse Practitioner – Urology / Queens Medical Group - Fresh Meadows & Flushing Location

In this role, the Nurse Practitioner will deliver comprehensive healthcare services to patients within the urology department, working collaboratively with attending physicians and other members of the team.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift position within NYP Queens Medical Group. NP will cover Fresh Meadows & Flushing location.

Preferred Criteria:

Urology experience is a plus

Required Criteria:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner.
Current New York State RN license.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body – American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area. This position is approximately 50% clinical patient care and 50% nuclear stress lab responsibilities. Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology - Brooklyn Medical Group Clinical Patient Care : Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care in collaboration with a board-certified cardiologists. Perform history and physical exams, manage chronic cardiovascular conditions (e.g., hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation), order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Adjust medications, provide patient education, and coordinate follow-up care. Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record. Nuclear Stress Lab Duties : Prepare patients for nuclear stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic). Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, addressing questions and concerns. Administer and monitor pharmacologic stress agents (e.g., regadenoson, Adenosine) . Supervise and assist with patient monitoring during stress testing, including IV placement, vital signs, and ECG monitoring. Work closely with the attending cardiologist, nuclear medicine technologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient test completion. Assist with preliminary reporting and quality assurance as needed. This is a full time position located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. The schedule is Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00AM-5:00PM and Tues/Thurs 10:00AM – 7:00PM. One Saturday a month required. Preferred Criteria Prior experience working in an outpatient cardiology practice or stress lab. Comfort with IV starts and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively. Nurse Practitioner – NP – Infusion Center– Days We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with oncology experience and pediatric experience (or a strong comfort level caring for pediatric patients) to provide patient-centered care across our Same-Day Access and Infusion Center. This role supports the full spectrum of infusion services, including both benign and oncology patients in adult and pediatric populations , and involves acute symptom management, assessment and treatment of therapy-related complications, care coordination, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse patient population receiving a wide range of infusion therapies and will work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical team members to ensure high-quality, timely care. Prior experience with CAR-T therapy is preferred but not required. This is a full time day shift position working 4 days per week and there is also a rotating Saturday requirement.
