Position Details:

with at least 1 year of experience

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

  • Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state or compact state required

  • Certifications:

    • BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire

    • Additional certifications may be required based on unit, including: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific credentials

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

  • Prolonged standing and walking

  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

We are looking to build a team of highly engaged nurses who have a passion for education, patient care, and best practices. This unit will care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio (day shift only). Each nurse will act as a preceptor to two senior level nursing students who will take total care of the 4 patients. A clinical rotation preceptor will also be available for support/oversight of the students.
