Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City

Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week) 

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts/week

Overview:

Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High-School Diploma or GED are required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.   

  • Licensure: Non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience.  

  • Experience: non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience.  

  • Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.   

  • Other: Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
     

This is a career-ladder position. The level at which the successful candidate is hired will be determined based on education, certification, and relevant experience.
